If you go counterclockwise it’s a pretty long steep climb and there were large biting flies that were pretty aggressive and distracting. Go clockwise for a easier time up and views on the way down (bring bug repellant!).

Mt. Tam - East Peak Counterclockwise Loop

Pretty long steep climb and there were biting flies! Go clockwise for easier time up and views on the way down.
