Rob: Rattlesnake Mountain - from the back
Tried a different trail to Rattlesnake. This is a new trailhead, and very well groomed. Pretty steep from this side, but well worth it because there are WAY fewer hikers here (than the main trailhead). Great views of Mt. Si & Mailbox from the top. Lots of snow and ice past Stan's Overlook, so microspikes are recommended. Would be a good hike to leave a car at the main entrance and complete the trail over to the other side. Good run down.
