Somehow this day is completely up! A really nice remote section until you hit the Cervinia Ski area and then it turns to moonscape. I decided to hike all of it up to the pass (vs. riding the gondola for the last 500 meters) and this ended up being a steep, brutal climb. I survived on Swiss cookies and chocolate.
