Quehanna Trail(edit)

Overview

This is a moderate one way trail in [Moshannon State Forest] (https://www.gaiagps.com/hike/united-states/pennsylvania/moshannon-state-forest/). Gaia has this listed as a one way hike, however it's a hike to nowhere, so you'll want to double the distance to return back to your vehicle.

Getting Started

Parking for this trail is located at the western terminus of the Quehanna Trail. From PA 153, take Mud Run Rd. to the Park Office. Along the access road, follow signs for the campground. The lot will be on the right before the campground.

Taking Children

There are some rocky sections, but given the relatively mild elevation and short distance, capable children may be able to complete this hike. Note that this is listed as a one way hike, so double the distance for an out and back.
