    It’s a fun little hike - about 2 miles and some vertical (not that common in midwest) I have hiked (and skied) this trail for over 30 years - young and old it’s been a good shortish hike

    Probably the least hiked of Hay Creek trails. Just a nice climb up - go past abandoned farmstead and through pine woods - then back down vis switchbacks. A few people on horseback and maybe another hiker. Nice get away.
