This was a great hike! However, I must mention that today (4-3-22) about half the trail was totally covered in snow and we should have had snow shoes (about 8” of snow). Once we got to the section along Patterson Lake though the trail was bare, clear and beautiful. Perfect temperature today (50 degrees) and just a little cloudy.
The trail had a really nice mix of elevation gain and flat and provides some amazing views.
