North Cascades National Park Visitor Center via River Loop Trail(edit)

With Jen, Will, Thomas and Dad. Trail leaves the visitor center and drops towards the river. Many large trees and ferns. There are several spots where you can access the river. The Western most portion of the loop abuts a burned area and there was no shade and it got hot. Jen, Dad and I waited at the campground and Will and Thomas walked back up the hill to the visitor center to get Mom and have her drive the van down to pick us up.
