Island Trail Loop(edit)

Overview

This is an easy loop trail in Tillie K Fowler Regional Park. This trail loops through forest and swamp and passes a tower that gives views of the surrounding area. You may see wildlife such as birds and reptiles. There are lots of different plants and trees.

Getting Started

Start at the parking area and follow the path. There are a variety of trails that will make a nice loop. There is a bathroom and trashcan at the trailhead. Be sure to bring water and pack out all trash.

Taking Children

This is a good hike for children as it is flat, short, and easy to navigate. Make sure to wear sunscreen.
