An enjoyable and varied hike, starting with gardens in a stately home outside Portsmouth, moving into beautiful forests which made a change from exposed moorland, and an ancient walled and cobbled track too. Beaches were splendid and had an excellent swim in natural sand pools between rocks that were indescribable. Cawsand an attractive fishing port and less touristy than polperro
