Hiked the loop counterclockwise. At about 3.5 miles, there's a fork in the trail. Don't go left! Keep to the right. This trail is beautiful, but best in the spring because of the many wildflowers. No cell service! The 2-mile forest service road one needs to drive down to trailhead is quite bumpy and has two small creek crossings. Would not recommend driving there in a low riding car.
