Lehigh Valley Zoo Loop via Elk Ridge Trail(edit)

Overview

This is a easy to moderate loop trail found in Trexler Nature Preserve within the Central Range. The terrain is mostly single track (counter clockwise) and opens to double wide trail by the creek. It follows double blue blazes and features some views at the top, bridge crossings, and a chance to observe wildlife. Elevation is roughly 325 feet

This trail goes by Mill Hill and Lehigh Valley Zoo.

Getting Started

There are several parking spots available along Jordan Creek. Follow signs for zoo entrance.

Taking Children

Good for children with hiking experience. Elevation is basically in one area of the loop going counter clockwise
