Overview
This is a easy out and back, pet friendly trail to Tri-State Peak in Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. It passes by the remains of an old iron smelting furnace. There are several historical monuments and informational placards along the trail.
This trail goes over the historical Cumberland Gap.

There is ample parking at the trailhead in the small town of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.
Taking Children
Trail is rated 9/10 for children of all ages. There are a few steep slopes as you get higher.
