This is a beautiful hike. It is long, so start with the first lift up to the mountain top. I’ve done it in sunny, clear weather and I’ve done it in foggy, cold and wet conditions. It never disappoints. Six hours if you don’t stop, up to 8 hours if you stop a lot. Make sure you know when the last lift goes down the mountain to Saalbach. If you miss it, it will be a very long hike down.
