Big Rock Viewpoint via Sandy Stream Pond Trail(edit)

Easy trail to do when you only have an hour to spend at Roaring Brook and not climbing the mountain. The trail is defined and has rocks so watch your step. You will cross a few bridges and walk along elevated portions of the trail. You will run into two view points with excellent view of sandy stream and chimney pond and Katahdin. We turned around at the trail junction of South Turner Mountain & Russell Pond trails.
