This was pretty rugged as a matter of fact on the way up I was telling myself I didn't need to do any of these big hikes anymore. I've done enough of them. I also told myself this was the answer to the question I've been asking myself lately about climbing Katahdin again. The answer is no.
The seven people that I met coming down as I was ascending were all young.
Too young women who are camping in the forks, A couple was a really cool accent and three young boys what is the running down the trail. I also imagine they where the artists who carved the outline of a penis in the pine needles on the trail.
But I just haven't did to the reward of beautiful views of
borestone, elephant, Baker Chairback mountain range the lake, Indian pond. Spectacular
I was thinking of Bart and Peter Fair who are no longer here. And the hikes that I did with them.
On the height down my feet never hung on till anything so hard as they did on these rocks.
I was angry at myself for doing this all the way up but then satisfied happy and content all the way down.
