This is an alternate route for Mount Willey Loop via Willey Range Trail and Avalon Trail.

Trail was in good shape for micro spikes, no snow shoes needed. Crossing the stream was easy, someone built a bridge using some logs. This bridge didn't exist 7 days prior. Hike was given 4 stars because the summit was in the clouds.
