I've been on both these trails many times but never gone up one and down the other. Windsor trail is fairly straight up at a pretty constant slope. Unlike Brownsville starts up then turns into an old road, with a gentle climb, ending with a straight up to make up the difference.
Both have some great views and good challenges. I like Windsor better when hiking with my dogs because there's water along most of it.
