Hyalite Reservoir via Fs 62A(edit)

Overview

This is an easy out and back trail in Custer Gallatin National Forest.

This trail goes by Hyalite Reservoir and Cresent Lake.

To make this a loop, once you reach Crescent Lake, take the intersecting trail back to the parking lot.

Getting Started

The parking lot is large, but can fill up later in the day.

Taking Children

Terrific hike for kids, since this is a fairly flat hike with few dips or rises.
