A cold, windy morning, with occasional strong gusts blowing snow, probably not the best for a prairie hike, but we had fun laughing at it all. Sunny in the trees, very pleasant and the views were spectacular. About three inches of snow on the ground so microspikes might help some. It was a good workout.
