Maroon - 4 Passes Loop Clockwise Day 2 (8/17/18)
Day 2 started early and we made our way (slowly) over West Maroon Pass, with deep red mountains, and down into a beautiful valley. We had a temporarily easy hike, and then went over a second 12,500' pass called Frigid Air. The final ascent was extremely steep, and nearly did me in, but we were then able to drop slowly into an absolutely gorgeous, lush valley where we camped just above a waterfall.
