Lake Accotink Loop via Cross County Trail and Accotink Loop Trail(edit)

Overview

This is a moderate loop trail in Lake Accotink Park.

This trail goes by Lake Accotink and Carousel.

There is a single steep section by the dam. Much of the trail is gravel. There are several lake access points. This is an excellent wild life viewing location.

Getting Started

Parking is available at several locations. On busy times it is easier to park at one of the branch trails into surrounding neighborhoods.

Taking Children

This is a kid friendly park. You will need to pay attention on the trails to keep young kids on the right as the trails have plenty of joggers & bicyclists.
