Most of this is listed as “challenging” or on Haynes Ridge “very challenging” by the state parks themselves. There are sections of this hike that are steep and a bit scary for someone afraid of heights. And 3 places where our smallish hiking dog jumped and missed (waist high is higher than she can stand on back legs … and she almost got it). Still, it’s part of the adventure! We did not complete all of Haynes ridge but did do the whole loop surrounding it - South Prong camping area through North Prong and back.
