Horse Rock Ridge RNA Hike(edit)

Overview

This is a Moderate out and back hike. There are some exposed areas that you have to climb down on. So it's best to hike the trail without snow or ice. At the top of the trail you can see Diamond Peak and Mt Jefferson and some of the Sisters.

Getting Started

The roads going up are narrow and often have logging trucks coming down. So take care driving up. There is limited parking at the trailhead and it is popular on the weekends.

Taking Children

This would be an ok trail for older kids because of the steep climb down about 1/2 way through.
