Big Lake Knoll Loop via Trail(edit)

Trail starts behind the outhouse in loop D. Going Clockwise Much of this trail has experienced a very severe burn and there’s a lot of standing dead. It’s still has very attractive scenery as you switched between mature, pine forests, young Aspen’s and open burn areas alongside meadows. The terrain is mildly rocky and portions of the trail follow old, deserted railroad grade.
