I love this non-technical but rigorous hike! There is a steep trail with root climbing, rock outcrop scrambling, and a ledge system on the upper slopes that take you to an unbeatable view of the Olympics, Hood Canal, and the Cascades. Care must be exercised, particularly with an unroped descent. A slip and fall could prove fatal!

Mt Washington attempt
Went with Matt and his friend Kassie. Parked just past the lower th. Snow conditions were mostly awful and interchanging but the weather was amazing. They said this was both of their hardest hike/climb and a first in a lot of ways for mountain things.
Mt Washington (Olympics, winter)
Went with Megan. Parked the car 1.25 miles from the th. Awful snow with weather predicted as partly sunny was heavy overcast with snow/rain. Turned around due to Easter festivities and lack of view with the poop snow.
