We'd wanted to do this trail for a while but just never made it out there. Do yourself a favor and go NOW. Easily one of the most scenic trails in the PNW. So much to do and see here. I'll definitely be back with some REAL cameras. Don't listen to the signs. The trail only gets BETTER after the closure spot. But... be warned: there are some tricky spots near the end. One slip, and you may end up in the raging rapids 80' below. 2 passable tunnels & 1 caved in tunnel (but you can climb over), followed by a cave (we went in, but it was so pitch black, and kinda spooky - so we didn't make it to the end). The very end of the trail goes up to a small lookout. Pass this up if you get nervous with heights and lousy footing! Not worth that last climb (coming down is the hard part). Not at all a strenuous hike (no elevation), but Amazing, amazing, amazing.

Robe Canyon
2nd time in 2 months. Had to take the kids (25+) back here. No pics, because we JUST did this earlier (check out our previous trip for awesome pics). Absolutely a MUST do hike. If you only get out once this year... make it here. Ignore the closed sign. ALL of the good stuff is beyond the closure. Lots of landslides and tricky spots, so be careful (especially on that bridge). One wrong move can be disastrous. Just go do it. :0)
