Westwing Mountain Trail Loop(edit)

Overview

Moderate hiking, running trail. Steep & loose rocky trail to difficult in small sections with nice views of the city but no shade. 3.6 miles but can do additional mileage if you do the vistas.

Getting Started

Park at West wing park.27100 West Wing Parkway. Hike W. to BlackRock Blvd, north on High Desert Dr.to trailhead.

Taking Children

If children 8 or under keep close eye on them as parts of trail are very steep.
