Mount Hood National Forest Hike(edit)

Solo, Anne in NC. Sunny and 80. The view looking at Mount Hood the hike up was epic but the trail was just ok. Little rocky and soft sand with no shade and little vegetation. The canyon walls were 100 ft Trailside and 300ft other side. The river bed was 1/4 mile wide with boulders but only 4ft wide now. Interesting and significant spot when spring rains and melt along with boulders and debris rush down. The huge parking lot is dispersed camping BTW. 7 there when I pulled out.
