Mt. Tammany Lookout Loop via Appalachian Trail(edit)

Overview

This is a moderate to difficult loop trail to Scenic Overlook - Delaware River in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. It traverses the Red Dot, Blue Dot, Dunnfield Creek (green) and Appalacian Trail (white). Begin following the red dot up to the view, which can be steep and rocky in sections, especially during the first mile of elevation. Follow the blue dot to descend and connect with the Dunnfield Creek Trail. Use the cut through trail to connect to the Appalachian Trail back down to parking lot. This trail offers beautiful vistas, a creek, and the chance to see wildlife.

This trail goes by Mount Tammany Lookout and Dunfield Creek Nature Area.
