Overview
This is an easy loop trail around the perimeter of Pike Island in Fort Snelling State Park. The hike offers good views of the Minnesota River on the south side and the Mississippi River on the north side. This hike is the official Minnesota State Parks and Trails Hiking Club for Fort Snelling State Park.
Getting Started
There is ample parking at the trail head near the Thomas C. Savage Visitor Center.
