This hike is a strenuous traverse hike of Devil's Path, which is a challenging and difficult hiking trail. The trail encompasses: Saint Anne's Peak, West Kill Mountain, Buck Ridge Lookout, Geiger Point, Devil's Acre spring, Hunter Mountain overlook, Hunter Mountain, Notch Lake, Orchard Point, Plateau Mountain, Sugarloaf Mountain overlook, Sugarloaf Mountain, Twin Mountain overlook, Twin Mountain, Twin Mountain south summit, Jimmy Dolan Notch overlook, Indian Head Mountain, Viewpoint, View, and Sherman's Lookout.
Getting Started
Trailhead parking is available on Spruceton Rd. in West Kill, NY, at the Mill Hollow Trailhead for ~6 cars, and at the Prediger Road Trailhead on Prediger Rd. in Elka Park, NY.
