Overview

This is a moderate loop trail in Saltese Uplands Conservation Area. This trail is open grassland with sweeping views all around. A great hike for sunrise or sunset watching.

Getting Started

Park at the Saltese Uplands Trailhead parking lot on Henry Road. A Discover Pass is required and outhouses are available. There are many trails in this conservation area. You can choose to follow this route in the clockwise direction for a quicker climb, or go counter clockwise for an easier approach. This trail is popular for horseback riding and mountain biking. Exposed to wind and sun, make sure to bring sunblock in this hike.

Taking Children

This is a great hike for young children. The terrain is not difficult and the elevation gain is not challenging.
