Mt Healy Oberlook
I watched a magpie flying from the north swooping in the wind, and wasn’t surprised when he landed just for a moment on a rock not a few feet away from where I was standing, then flew off quickly down into the trees where I suppose he might’ve had a nest.
Mt. Healy overlook
6/12/19. AGC trip - trail was steeper than I’d remembered. Switchbacks, but not gentle ones. Slow group made it about halfway in 1:45.

Great 1/2 day hike! The view is worth the steep final 30% or so. Moderate with strenuous final 3rd.
