Mowich Lake to Spray Falls and Spray Park
A relatively short hike that seems a lot longer than it is. Maybe this is because you start by going DOWN from Mowich lake. We're so used to getting elevation at the start, and then trail-rumning back down... so this seemed backwards. Auper hike theough old-growth. TONS of different crazy fungi along the way (even some "Super Mario" mushrroms, which are pretty rare. Lots of cool streams and bridges. Spray falls is amazing. Great spot for lunch, and then continue up to the park from there (which is the main elevation). The views of Mt. Rainier from the park are amazing. Get off of the beaten path a bit for some cool marsh-valleys. Great run down!
