Overview
This is a moderate loop trail in Oswald West State Park. One of the classic coastal hikes in Oregon with beautiful southern facings views of Manzanita.
Getting Started
Park on the west side of Highway 101 and cross the highway with care to begin the hike. Trail zig zags up the western face of the mountain through thorned bushes, then into the forest towards the final viewpoint.
Taking Children
Trail is fine for children, take caution when crossing the highway at the beginning of the hike.
This is an alternate route for Neahkahnie Mountain View Point via Oregon Coast Trail.
