    Gorgeous hike! Roughly 1.25 miles from the trail head, roughly 1000ft elevation gain. Be prepared with warm clothes, as the ice caps put off cold wind, and the lake is from snow melt. Lake gets covered with shade in late afternoon. Steep AF
