Great trail for families with kids. Be aware that you’re entering RMNP so there are no dogs allowed. We went during a year where the water was plentiful and all the smaller falls on the way to bridal veil kept everyone interested. The wildflowers and native grasses were diverse and absolutely beautiful. Despite being a Saturday on a holiday weekend the trail was not packed with hikers and we had bridal veil falls to ourselves for about an hour. Much of the trail is exposed but the cold creek water offers a reprieve for much of the hike.

Beautiful fall colors and the trail was in perfect condition. There is one spot where the trail direction becomes unclear due to rock outcrops, but other hikers showed us the way.
