Public Tracks
Balu Pass via Connaught creek
Wide mellow slopes to ski in Balu Pass. Originally set out to do Nicci’s Notch, but visibility was poor and Nicci’s is fairly narrow at the start (~5 turns).
Long approach day. Able to ski out 90% of the way - only a few sections of flat/slightly uphill.
On the approach, there are a few avalanche runout zones - ‘frequent flier’ and ‘STS’. Single file, be cautious.

First ever ski tour! With Emmanuelle, Nicole, Josh and Austin.
Beautiful sunny day with gorgeous views all around.
