    Lookout Mountain trails have expanded to offer increased distance and higher elevation gains. The Rufus Trail can take you to the highest point. Along the way, you pass a peekaboo viewpoint which offers limited views of Lake Whatcom. There is also a waterfall just a short distance from the parking lot. It’s a lovely hike. We hiked over 9 miles and almost 1900 feet of elevation gains.
