Kendall Peak is accessible via the Pacific Crest Trail and offers several summit routes of varying difficulty. The most direct approach follows the north ridge, which includes off-trail navigation and Class 2 scrambling—best suited for experienced hikers.
Follow the PCT for just over five miles. After passing a distinctive tree stump on the side of the trail, look for a steep boot path climbing to the right. This marks the start of the final push to the summit, where loose rock and scrambling begin.
