We went in the morning when all the brush was still wet. Like walking through a car wash! Luckily it’s never really cold in the summer on the coast. From the overlook could only see fog, but that’s what I expected. An adventurous short hike, but I highly recommend going in the afternoon after things dry out and the marine fog layer burns off.★ ★ ★ ★

Trail conditions were good. I’ve dome this hike in every season. Gets really muddy once the rains arrive. Parking lot fills up fast on the weekends. Would do during the week if you’re after solitude, or get there early as I did. A great up-hill workout with an amazing view at the top of the coast line and Manzanita. Beautiful old growth spruces and some firs along the way. Certain parts of the trail have a Star Wars-esque feel. Thought I saw an Ewok. Oh, I started recording this track a little late, so actual mileage is about 5 miles
A Great "MUST DO" Hike with Ocean Views and Old Growth Forest. at the Top the View from the Peak is Spectacular!!! The End to End is Good, I Prefer the West Side to the top,Up and Down as I think its the most fun with the Best Views (and no Road Hike to the Car)
