Our friends, Cindy and Frank, had been wanting to go on a hike with us. I have no idea why we chose Hale for their first hike. It was nice to just get out in the mountain air but the summit, well it's Hale. No views. A big incentive to go hiking is to see the gorgeous views. We took a pit stop at Zealand Hut to have a snack. Then it was out to Zealand trailhead and the dusty road walk back to the car. Cindy and Frank have not gone hiking with us since. Not sure why, haha.
