Echo Mountain via Echo Basin Trail #3410(edit)

Overview

This is a moderately easy out and back hike. At the top of the trail is a loop that will take you into a high elevation basin with wild flowers and a meadow. There are parts of a boardwalk in the meadow that you can walk on.

Getting Started

Turn North off of HWY 20 onto FS road 055. There is also a sign that says "Echo Basin." Drive the road up the mountain until you come to the trailhead on your right.

Taking Children

This would be a good trail for all ages, but would require carrying small children on certain parts of the trail. Dogs are also able to be off leash, but should be under control at all times.
