The park guide rated this as strenuous. If you do much hiking it should be a moderate challenge. The climb is gradual and then steepens about the last quarter. Great views as you climb the side of the mountain. The view from the tower is quite spectacular. The only downside is that the lookout has a radio tower next to it. This blocks the view from one side and looks a bit out of place in the wilderness.
