I really enjoyed this scenic desert hike. The only downside is there is a large section of the hike through cholla. It’s pretty to look at but we had our 30lb dog and had to carry him through this area because he kept getting cholla barbs in his feet. So dog owners beware on that section of the trail. Otherwise this is a great hike.
