If you love to hike and have a new small puppy this is a good route. We hike out here all the time. This time we needed a shorter, easy stroll after several days of long bike rides. We were also scoping out which trails would be good for a new puppy that was born on 5/14 (a week ago) so we can get him acclimated. The upper portion of Sulpher Springs seems to be ideal, connecting with Kanuga and the the shorter Brissy Ridge back to the upper parking lot. It took 1:15 and was just over three miles, perfect for short little legs although the rocky Brissy portion may require a lift for the little fellow until he grows a bit.
