Overview
This is a difficult loop trail in Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.
Best advised to complete counter clockwise.
Allow 1+ hour per mile at a minimum. The distance with side trips is closer to 5 miles.
Be easy off rock scrambles and steep trails. It's easy to get banged up in this one if you're not careful.
Getting Started
Park at the trailhead of Honey Creek Rd. You'll want to take the stairs on the other side of the road and down about 15ft to begin the trail.
Taking Children
This is a very technical hike with lots of scrambles and rock climbs. You'll want to keep a close eye on the children and I wouldn't recommend taking younger children.

This is one of the best hikes I've ever done, it's beautiful and rugged. I don't know why it's rated as easy, it's definitely moderate-to-difficult and wouldn't take kiddos or wouldn't do this one if you're not well-conditioned for it, but very well worth doing. Of note, at just under two miles you come to the stairs for the lookout (incredible view), once you come back down take a right and backtrack a little to go back down towards the creek, don't take a left from the stairs, there's a pseudo trail but once it starts descending it gets pretty treacherous and only then so you realise it's not the proper trail
