Overview

This is a difficult one way trail in Juan de Fuca Provincial Park.

This trail goes by Mystic Beach Outlook, Mystic Beach Campsite, Bear Beach, Magdalena Point, Chin Emergency Shelter, Chin Beach Campsite, East Sombrio Beach Campsite, West Sombrio Beach Campsite, Little Kuitshe Creek, Payzant Creek, and Botanical Beach.

This is a section of the Juan De Fuca Trail starting from the north and proceeding south. Terrain is well booted and extremely muddy at times. Tidal charts must be consulted to avoid high tides where the trail will be cut off.

Beautiful well maintained trail. We walked it late August, very dry and little mud, but would have been tough going if it had been wetter.
