Overview
This is a difficult loop trail to Mount Washington in White Mountain National Forest.
This trail goes by Lower Lake of the Clouds, Upper Lake of the Clouds, Lakes of the Clouds Hut, and Gem Pool.

The mountain is great: many options for various skill levels, grand views, interesting terrain, etc; however, I can’t help but mention that the excitement and sense of accomplishment at the summit was dampened by the crowded parking lot, large crowds, and—worst of all—the large number of motorists and train riders who formed a 20min line to stand by the actual summit.
The plus side to having a crowded top with cars and all (in good weather) is that it can be a safer hike for less experienced hikers.
Also a great area for photography.
I do plan to go back and hike an alternate rout to see what else the mountain has to offer.
