We were expecting light snow, at least at elevation, but it was rain & fog the whole way. The open circle at the summit was curious, I’ll need to research into how it got that way. Even without rain and fog I think the best scenery is probably from Zealand Road...

Zealand Road was closed, so had to hike in and hike out the extra 2.5m each way. Weather was great and the road was in the sun so it was slushy, especially on the way out. Bring sunscreen! Wore micro-spikes the entire way. Two grey jays at the top entertained us and made up for the lack of a view.
